We provide publishers will all kinds of reports around the BuySellAds platform. In fact, most of what you need is outlined below, complete with information on how to set up and export those reports in a format you can use with the Spreadsheet application of your choice.
If you go to My Account > Transaction History, there is an Export to CSV link in the center of the page.
The earnings report breaks down your ad sales into a day to day basis, to make it easier to compare to other ad networks that do the same.
Our ads are all paid for upfront, so you always have the total cost of the ad in your account, this is simply a visual representation of money you already have in your account.
To see how much you’re making per transaction, we recommend checking out your transactions page (click on your email address at the top of the page and click “Transaction History“.)
Earnings projects on a day-by-day basis instead of tallying up transaction costs, which allows it to report on days that are in a range that the transaction is not.
We recommend using the earnings page to compare day to day revenue against other ad networks, and using the transactions page to see exact incoming and outgoing payments.
We do not generate or provide any tax liability forms. Publishers are required to report their own earnings in accordance to their local laws. We do, however, provide a csv file to download all transaction data. This can be found in the Publisher’s dashboard under the Transactions tab.
To access this report, log in via BuySellAds.com, click on your email address at the top of the page, and click “Transaction History.” You’ll see the “Export as CSV” button at the top right.
We made over 1,783 changes to the BuySellAds app in the last 6 months, and we’re not stopping. Here are a few recent highlights:
We tweaked the labels to make it easy to see a broad overview of your revenue . If you use our Unreserved program, we now show your aggregate earnings from the Marketplace and Unreserved (and passbacks if you use them), with a detailed view that breaks down the difference between the two.
We added a graph to the transactions page to show you each transaction hitting your account. If you hover over the graph, you’ll see specific transactions.
Ad approval emails have been overhauled, and you can now approve or deny ads directly from the email. Just click the green or red button, and you’re all set.
Discounts that have been made public are now featured on our home page. The home page preview and new Discounts tab will give extra exposure and give sales a nudge. Make your discounts public by going to your dashboard at BuySellAds.com and clicking the “Discount Codes” tab. Edit your current codes, or create a new one, and make sure the “List this discount publicly in the BuySellAds marketplace?” box is checked.
Don’t worry, we’re not stopping! Let us know if you have anything you’d like to see changed, and if your site isn’t currently with BSA, let’s talk!
