Configuring Your Custom Domain
Configuring your custom domain for Self-Serve Direct is a two-step process. For the first step, you’ll need to update your DNS records, but the majority of the process is completed on our end.
On your side, we need you to set up a single CNAME entry for your account. The CNAME entry will determine the URL you want to use for your Self-Serve Direct Cart web page, and give us the ability to configure an SSL certificate on your behalf.
All you have to do is set up a single CNAME entry:
- [subdomain].[yoursite].com. CNAME [yoursite].hostedcart.buysellads.com.
Once the CNAME entry is configured, please get in touch with us, and let us know what you’ve set for your CNAME listings. We can then match the information up internally with our system, and complete the configuration process on our end. We have a few switches we need to flip, and a couple of knobs to turn before all of this will work for you. It won’t take long, but we need to know about your configuration before we can get started.
